For Businesses and Residents

  • 3-20-20 Orange County Mayor Demings announced a mandated curfew for all Orange County residents. The curfew will be in effect starting tonight, March 20, and remain in place until further notice. The curfew is from 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. This does not apply to those traveling to and from work, and first responders and medical professionals. 
  • 3-20-20 All city indoor facilities will close to the public at close of business on Friday, March 20, 2020. The newly enacted closures apply to Orlando City Hall and other city administrative and office buildings. While this includes permitting's offices, building inspection services will continue to operate. Outdoor facilities such as city parksLeu Gardens and Dubsdread Golf Course will remain open to the public at this time, with necessary social distancing measures in place to adhere to CDC guidelines. 
  • Today, Governor DeSantis also announced a new executive order that halts all dine-in restaurant services, but still allowing take-out and pick up to occur. The order also required all gyms and fitness centers to close as well.
  • 3-17-20 Effective immediately and until March 31, 2020, the City of Orlando is prohibiting the sale or distribution of alcoholic beverages at bars, nightclubs, restaurants, hotels or other venues where alcohol is typically consumed, pursuant to the provisions of Code 43-A of the City Code.
  • 3-17-20 Residents and local businesses experiencing financial strain can contact the Heart of Florida United Way at 2-1-1

Safety Matters
