CPNA Monthly Meeting - College Park Public Schools Update

CPNA and OCPS are pleased to present a special meeting about the many wonderful things going on at College Park Public Schools.


From the new construction at Princeton Elementary, to the completed ninth grade center at Edgewater, there is a lot of activity in our schools--and we wanted to connect our schools and our community. The schools have rallied around this idea, and have a wonderful, information-filled evening to share all the great goings on with all of us. 


Topics

  • School Board: Nancy Robbinson, our School Board Representative will discuss the issues that are currently important to the School Board such as the Reapportionment of School Board Districts and the upcoming Superintendent's Search
  • Princeton Elementary: Principal Andrew Rollins accompanied by an OCPS Facilities representative and the school architects will update us on the Princeton Elementary expansion project.
  • Lake Silver Elementary:  Principal Cynthia Swanson will provide a snapshot of the upcoming school year and with an OCPS Facilities representative update us on the  future construction plans at Lake Silver. 
  • Lee Middle School: Principal Tom Pylant will discuss the International Baccalaureate Program and the upcoming year, and also talk about the new school uniforms at Lee. (He may even bring some students to model them.)
  • Edgewater High School: Principal Michele Erickson will present the new Ninth Grade Center and the upcoming year at EHS.


So be sure to come down and learn about these wonderful institutions and the incredible impact they are having on our kids and our community!
