The Board felt that we needed to offer our membership and the community an opportunity to interact with the candidates in the next election. For that reason we have decided to hold two meet and greet events in Albert Park on Edgewater Drive. We have done this for many past elections and call the events “Politics in the Park.”

This is the second event and is before the “general” election on Saturday evening October 25th. The election date is November 4th.

The reason quotation marks are around general is that for some positions, non-partisan races and partisan races with no general candidate, the August 26th election will have actually been the “general” and the November election may or may not be a “run off.”

Some final decisions will have been reached at the August 26th election.
